Idealist: My level of optimism for the world's future varies from day to day, but I live in hope. I like to be with people who are interested in living to make a change, rather than just talking about it.
Creator: I'd go insane without my fix of pottery; time disappears when I'm playing with clay. I love making books, powerpoints, and games for children. I like photography, know what looks good, but don't have a lot of knowledge on speeds and shutter size etc. LOVE cooking; creating spicy vegetarian 'stuff' from whatever I can find in the fridge. I'm trying to create a veggie patch, but not a load of success so far.
Cyber_Explorer: If I had a computer I probably would be one. I use the computer at work at the end of the day (like now), but by then (as now) I'm pretty near brain dead and ready to go home. So... apologies for typing errors and not making sense here now. Also, lack of computer means I don't have access to emails on weekends.
Questioner: When I was around 3 I lost one of my letters from my magnetic alphabet set. I asked my mum why I didn't have the letter 'Y' and she said it was because it was worn out from me always asking 'why' questions. I've never stopped asking.
Philosopher: Non-stop questioner.
My mum was Jewish, my Dad Anglican and I was brought up as a Quaker. As religions go, I think it's the one I feel most at home with; there are no priests, no set doctrine, so you are free to explore you spirituality. I became a Bahai in '92, and for several years believed they had THE answers to all the big questions. I've lost the conviction that our questions can be answered by any religion, or if they are answerable. I like the quote that if our brain was simple enough to understand, we would be too stupid to understand it. Maybe if life was simple enough to understand, we'ld have died of boredom. So..., anyway, I'm still exploring.
